August Break: Reflection

reflectionjamI made strawberry freezer jam today, with local berries from Garden Sweet Farm. It’s the first time I’ve ever made it, and I’m not sure if it’s going to set. I meant to make a double batch, but by the time I mashed the berries and added the sugar, I think I had more like tripled it, but only had enough pectin for double. So instead I might have made some really yummy strawberry sauce, and I’m okay with that.
