Even though human made architecture can be beautiful, even comforting, (representing shelter and safety as it does), I’d much rather look up and see trees than buildings.

It’s so funny how I get stuck in one way of thinking about something. I kept wondering how I’d do a skyline picture as I live in a small town and there’s not much of a skyline (buildings). I never thought of the trees!
And I kept resisting buildings, because that’s a view that makes me claustrophobic, no matter how beautiful they are, so I opened myself up to look for a “line in the sky,” and then I noticed the beautiful lines of these pine trees and just knew it was the right picture.
