  1. Guinevere

Flo curled up and fell asleep on me last night. I could feel the oxytocin saturating my cells as she breathed into my leg. Of course I don’t know whether it was really oxytocin, but. … Yesterday when Petra and I walked Flo and Ginger in the park, the little kids on the path would stop and gaze delightedly at the dogs. Which, I told Petra, just goes to show that homo sapiens are evolved along with canis lupus. Our cells respond to a dog-smile. I wish I could post a photo here, but no dice. Go to my blogs: http://recoveringthebody.com and http://guineveregetssober.com. I’ll tack up the photo there just for you and your readers.

    Dogs do smile.
