Tired
Just for a moment, I close my eyes and let myself feel how tired I really am. The Dalai Lama is chanting what now sounds like a lullaby, the heater is humming, the clock ticks, and I feel at first like I am floating, then sinking, and then, finally, falling.

Hopefully “falling” asleep. I’ve read that to sleep we have to relinquish all control. An interesting thought.
Yes, Barb–I did have the wisdom to at least sit down before I allowed myself this moment 🙂 And that thing about letting go of control totally makes sense.
Rest well.
Thank you ♥
I am Tired also, so just know that You make the world a better place for us 🙂
Thank you, Carol–this makes it so much easier for me to give myself permission to rest (something I’m not very good at). ♥
