I am an introvert.
I am a fan of slow, small, and simple.
I appreciate gentle, quiet, and still.
I like to sit and stare, dawdle and dream.
My meditation practice is called “shamata,” which means “peaceful or calm abiding.”
I am learning to rest, to stay, to remain on the middle path.
Not too loose and not too tight.
Here’s a video of Carl Honore doing a Ted Talk praising slowness.
Wishing for you a peaceful, gentle, slow day of rest.
