1. Morning walks. I was so sure all the fall color would be gone this week, and while there is less of it, it was no less gorgeous. Because of this, I took SO many pictures! This morning, one of the only days I usually sleep in (get up around 6:30 am instead of 5 am), Ringo crawled back in bed with me after he ate breakfast and stayed, so when we finally got up, we got to walk together with Eric. I don’t normally walk that section of the river and around those ponds with Ringo as it’s he and Eric’s favorite spot to walk and they go often, so it was nice to be there again. In particular, the narrow leaf cottonwoods were dropping leaves like golden snow and it almost broke my heart it was so beautiful.

We also saw these two Downy Woodpeckers having a spat about something or other.

2. Fall color. See previous item in this list. 🙂
3. Practice. One person who hadn’t been at yoga last week to learn the sequence set to “Thriller” was there and we got to let her in on the surprise. One other person who missed it might be there next week and if so, we’ll do it again. I may need to find some Christmas carols and do another themed, more “choreographed” class for that holiday too, because it was awful fun. My Friday morning writing group was extra special, with almost all of us there. It is such magic, so much medicine to write with these women. I am SO lucky. Still haven’t reset my practice room so I can start formal meditation practice again — maybe this weekend?
4. Moving my body. I start with a new physical therapist next week for a mix of therapy and weight training and am feeling very hopeful. I also finally was able to go back to my bootcamp class I had to stop when Mom’s situation got so unpredictable, and it was so fun. And bonus, I didn’t wreck myself doing it!

5. My tiny family, small house, little life. I am really looking forward to Eric being on fall and then winter break, to spending some time with all three of us here together doing whatever we want to and a whole lot of nothing.
