2. 14 things that the misguided religious establishment doesn’t want you to know from Jim Palmer, a former evangelical megachurch pastor. My favorite is #14: “You are capable of guiding your own spiritual path from the inside out and don’t need to be told what to do. You naturally have the ability, capacity, tools and skills to guide and direct your life meaningfully, ethically and effectively. Through the use of your fundamental human faculties such as critical thinking, empathy, reason, conscience and intuition, you can capably lead your life. You have the choice to cultivate a spirituality that doesn’t require you to be inadequate, powerless, weak, and lacking, but one that empowers you toward strength, vitality, wholeness, and the fulfillment of your highest potentialities and possibilities.”

The constantly tired thing: do you think it’s grief? I think it must be for me, especially since it’s ongoing as my mom struggles. This week last year, Dad was entering hospice and I can really feel my energy shifting around that memory, probably because I haven’t really been able to deal with it yet. ❤

I don’t know. I’m just getting over covid, so it’s really hard to tell right now. (But I think it’s grief).

Oh, friend, I’m sending you love. Milestones and anniversaries (even these kinds) are tough. 😘

I enjoyed the article about napping! I’ve been embracing naps lately, and I just got a weighted blanket, and it’s wonderful! As always, you have so many good links here!

I hadn’t got a weighted blanket because I didn’t think I’d like it, thought it would feel claustrophobic or something. But I got one a year or two ago, and when I need it, it’s the best! ❤
