No matter who sings it, this is one of my favorite happy/sad songs, (there are many covers of it that I love as much as the original, this being one of my favorites). The way Toto offers Dorothy/Judy his paw in this video, saying “pet me,” just melts me. My Dexter does the same thing–in fact this particular Toto looks like a mini Dexter.

Your VW quote stopped me in my tracks. What?! No need to sparkle! I spent a whole year working with the word “sparkle” trying to see it, find it, beat it in to my being….Ha! only to read “no need to be anybody but oneself” and apparently with or without sparkle is enough. Pondering…..
Maybe your brilliant “oneself” sparkles without even trying, just by being who you are? I have certainly seen your light shining ♥
